Create an Animated Customisable Flipbook with Camtasia (2022+)

I set out to create a realistic, 3D-looking, animated, reusable flipbook only with Camtasia, and I recorded the whole process for you.

So here it is, for your viewing pleasure, a minicourse teaching you how to create an animated flipbook in Camtasia from scratch.

You will end up with a reusable library asset that shows animated pages flipping from left to right, with a light beam or glossy pages running across the page, a drop shadow, the pages get darker as they move away from the camera - very realistic.

This is a long-ish Camtasia minicourse but I think you will learn a great deal from it about animation, planning, keyframes, light effects, motion blur, animation rotation point, creating reusable and customizable assets with quick properties.

Everything is explained in detail.

You will need Camtasia 2022+ to follow this tutorial because it uses a feature that was introduced in Camtasia 2022 - changing the rotation point for an object. However, in the video I also show how you can achieve it with older versions, you just need to think a little differently.
